Our clinic
Founded in 2004
Advanced Chiropractic was founded in 2004 to offer the Gonstead System in a warm and welcoming setting. Gonstead is a full spine method of analysis: five separate readings of the spine, taken at every visit, decide which single level is adjusted, and the rest of the spine is left alone.
The clinic has been on Springvale Road since 2004, serving the same corner of Melbourne’s south east, and Dr Arthur Kaganovitch is now its sole practitioner. X-ray is on site, so where the examination indicates imaging, it is taken and read here on the day rather than sent somewhere else.

I came to chiropractic because I wanted to spend my working life helping people in pain work towards getting back to what they were doing before it started. I graduated from the chiropractic double degree at RMIT in Melbourne. I work between two clinics, Advanced Chiropractic here in Mulgrave and Aura Chiropractic in Toorak.
I practise the Gonstead System because it is specific. The examination tells me which level of the spine is involved, and the adjustment is directed at that level rather than at the whole region. Away from the clinic you will find me reading, at the gym, on a tennis court or in a martial arts class.
